I've ordered a few things for the giveaway already. Unfortunately, I realized that one of the sellers I bought from lives in Canada, so the giveaway *might* be delayed. Or I might just hold the items for my next giveaway. Who knows?!

You see, I need items to give away for my giveaway, or else it wouldn't be much of a giveaway, would it? I think it would be rather boring to give away stuff from my shop, if not time consuming since most of my items are made-to-order. So instead, I'll be using goodies that I buy from a variety of other Etsians.

So, what exactly does that mean?

Everyone whos item(s) I feature in my giveaway will be featured on this blog, my Facebook, and Twitter (free promotion!). Their items will be fully credited to them and they will get linked when possible.

How do you get the chance to become a featured seller in my giveaway, you ask? Just buy into the BNR and I'll throw your shop name into a randomized generator and pick my winners from there.

Today, it's storming really bad..lots of thunder and lightning. I hope it doesn't interfere with the BNR (power, please stay on!).

I've almost reached 50 sales in my shop. How awesome is that?

I started my Etsy shop almost a year ago, very disillusioned and without first taking the time to properly understand the mechanics of the site and finer points of marketing. Lampshades N' Lollipops has come a very long way, building from the ground up on very shaky legs. 50 sales marks a huge milestone for me, one that means that I was able to achieve success.

To celebrate the occasion, I'll be hosting a giveaway that will include items from various Etsy members. I'll be posting details soon, so I suggest liking my Facebook page or following me on Twitter to keep in the loop (or following my blog if you haven't already!).
